We have delivered SU/Peer-led groups for people since 2011. Our facilitators, who have been through treatment themselves, provide empathy and understanding of clients' holistic needs which can often be overlooked in the treatment process. Offering a safe space for people to express themselves with Art has always been one of our favourites, empowering people to express themselves, be themselves, and believe in themselves whilst gaining confidence and empowerment.

Art is at the heart of Recovery with a lot of people who use Aurora Project, SU's, (service users) Mentors, Volunteers and Staff! Being a grassroots Charity, we thrive to look for holistic therapy such as Art, which is known for being an aid and therapeutic in recovery. To provide materials for these groups can be costly, and we carry out quizzes, and small fundraisers specifically for this. All donations go towards continuing this work.

Our groups, including Art, is always well attended often reaching many isolated people in our communities. Helping to bring structure to peoples days, meet new people, combat isolation, and empower SU's to continue with their recovery journey. We aim for this to increase over the next 12 months, as the more groups we can deliver, the more people that can be reached.
