Hi Everyone
Ava and I will taking part in The Color Run being held at Wembley on Sunday the 7th June to raise funds for her schools PTA. It is a fun event where at every 1k marker the volunteers throw a different coloured dry paint all over you, at the end they have a stage with music and you guessed it more dry paint throwing and dancing.
The Thorn Grove School PTA organise fund raising events to enable the school to buy things to enhance the children’s education. In previous years the money has been used for the library, DT, PE equipment, a new television, CD writer, leasing for computers, book prizes at the end of each term, and the outdoor play areas in Key Stage 1 and 2 play grounds.
We are hoping to raise funds to go towards the purchase of new play equipment for the Key Stage 1 and 2 play grounds (3-5 years olds).
Please dig deep as any amount you can donate no matter how large or small will help us reach our target of £100.
With all the running I've been doing (none at all) Ava is sure to beat me round the 5k course leaving me in the multi coloured dust..!
