Team Fundraisers
Miss Ruby, Mrs Ware, Miss Collins, Mrs Hoole, Mrs Nuthall, Miss Luxton and Miss Wescott are all taking part in the Barney to Beach sponsored walk on Sunday 15th September to raise money for Families in Grief.
The walk starts at Barnstaple Pannier Market and covers a variety of terrain over 8 miles, ending at Crow Point Beach.
Families in Grief is a local charity that supports children, young people and their families in our area following a bereavement and here at North Tawton, Miss Ruby is our bereavement ambassador, signposting advice should you need it.
When someone you love has died, your whole world is turned upside down, and when you are a child, it is difficult to manage the big emotions of grief.
Please help us to raise money for this most wonderful charity. Just £5 can help fund the materials for a child to create a memory box, just £10 can help fund a phone call to parents/carers offering resources and support and just £20 can fund a home visit with a trained bereavement counsellor.
Please help us reach our target of £250 to support this wonderful, local charity.
