Team Fundraisers
As part of Shelter's Big Walk event, a group of volunteers (plus family and friends) are joining together to walk 17km (approx. 10 1/2 miles) around Barnsley, to not only support Shelter, but also provide funding to help meet local homeless and rough sleeping needs.
This team of volunteers go out each and every night, whatever the weather, to support those who are most in need across Barnsley. Through the general public's kind donations we're able to offer some food, as well as useful items (such as sleeping bags, warm coats, hats, gloves, flasks, hand warmers etc), some guidance and support on how to progress from their current situation, as well as just being someone there to talk to.
We really hope you will support us by helping to keep the shelves stocked up with much needed supplies. Every single donation here will help to keep this valuable service going and ensure that those who are worst off in Barnsley are not forgotten.
