Everest Base Camp Trek via Gokyo Lakes

Any family trying to get outdoors and active in today's high tech world can find it hard but for families of children with additional needs this is especially so, as many traditional sports and after school clubs do not offer the flexibility and support required by those needing a little more time or space. 

Sprout is a project enabling families of children with needs to access fun social outdoor activities without judgement or pressure. A place to relax and be themselves and this is my chosen charity! 

My challenge will begin on 6th November with an amazing trek through the Himilayas, coping with the thinner air at altitude, in order to reach Everest Basecamp at the crazy height of 5364m above sea level on the 17th November!
