Hi, I'm Morgan Conway who currently attends BCT Aspire CIC to attend the Duke Of Edinburghs Awards Scheme run by Paul Burgum. I used to attend the guitar lessons on a Saturday morning and the youth club to help out on a Wednesday and Thursday evening. I can see the effect BCT Aspire has on the young children and how it makes the volunteers feel after the sessions have ended. There is a very positive atmosphere every session and activities to join in with including pool, table tennis, indoor hockey, games consoles etc.
We are raising money to fund youth club sessions and be able to fund a mini bus which mean's we would be able to take bigger groups out on trips more often. Our youth leader Paul Burgum, is running a Coast to Coast route (192 miles) bare foot to also raise money for BCT. We are doing our own challenge as a team to cycle the length of the Coast to Coast on exercise bikes which is approximately 20 miles each. We would kindly appreciate and sponsors to go towards BCT to create bigger and better opportunities for younger people in the community.
