Starting Saturday 29th May I, along with fellow alumni from the University of Nottingham, am taking on a thrilling 4 peak hike in the lake district, climbing the four three thousand feet peaks, Helvellyn, Scafell, Scafell Pike and Skiddaw over 2 days for Arbour Vale School, where my father Dean is Development Manager.
Arbour Vale School is a large SEN school which caters for 320 pupils aged 2 to 19 with a range of educational needs, including pupils with severe learning difficulties with profound and multiple needs.
The association is raising funds to contribute towards a 16-seater wheelchair accessible minibus. A minibus is a vital resource helping to provide invaluable opportunities for our students to go into the community and gain self-confidence, work and life experience.
Please note - if you are a UK taxpayer please tick the gift aid option as this gives us an extra 25% on each donation.
