Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am helping to raise money for The Isaac Nash Trust. The trust was set up in memory of Isaac, the twelve year-old son of an old school friend who was tragically lost to the sea whilst on holiday with his family in Wales. His tragic loss was made even more significant when only two months later a friend and fellow Orthopaedic Surgeon Stuart Calder was also taken by the sea just a few miles further down the coast when his son got into difficulties whilst surfing.
The aim of the trust is to raise money to build a skate park for the children of Isaac's home in his name and to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute to help prevent any more families suffering this tragic loss.
I am taking part in a 150 mile one day bike ride from Highburton where Isaac lived to Abberfraw in Wales where Isaac's family where on holiday.
