Hi,
I'm riding 60km on Sunday 22 September from Salford City Council's main office in Swinton, to The Salfordian Hotel, Southport and any help and encouragement would be lovely.
The Salfordian is a hotel run by a charity that gives some of Salford's most vulnerable and isolated people the chance for a break. It's accessible and the older people and disabled people who use the hotel love it. It's just had to spend £50,000 on rewiring and other work, so it's even more important that we try to raise money for this much loved hotel.
The ride itself - well, it's the first ride that I'm leading. I've planned the route, recruited 25 other people to do it with me and have got lots of spares and tools with me. For many of the other riders, this will be their longest ride ever, so it's going to be a great challenge.
