On Sunday 1st November I will cycle 40 miles on stony paths along the river Thames (from Putney to Walton-on-Thames)!
As one of my supporters, you will contribute to the Literacy Project of SYLA. This charity supports boys from the age of 8 to help them reach their full potential and become independent, responsible and productive members of the community.
These boys are living in deprived areas of London and are often at risk of academic exclusion. Their progress at school is severely hampered by poor reading and writing skills. That's why SYLA has created the Big Literacy Project, which will encourage boys to enjoy reading and enable them to gain confidence in writing and performing their work.
