We believe that women with breast cancer need help and support. Because of this Phil Berry, Martin Berry and Nic Barella want to support this work and cycle the way of the roses (172 miles) across the UK on July 9th 2016. Zoe Bounds who is a friend of ours set up a local charity called Breast Friends York. This charity was set up in April 2014, in response to a lack of non-medical based support for patients with a breast cancer diagnosis in the York area.
The aim of Breast friends York is to provide a safe, supportive environment in which women with breast cancer diagnosis can support each other, through cancer and through life. With the support of the Breast Care Nurses and a variety of breast cancer charities, the meetings are determind by the needs of the women currently attending the group.
This charity is 100% dependent on the generosity of those who support it. Would you consider partnering with us as we dare to cycle across the UK in a day. This will be a a long and difficult task but as with many women who have breast cancer we want to stand with them.
Would you consider today giving to this important work? You don't have to give much to make a difference but with every gift it goes directly to those who need it. Your financial gifts would go towards; support groups, special outings, materials for heart pillow for mastectomy's.
