Team Fundraisers
On Sunday the 10th of November, I will be running the Athens Classic Marathon.
As a Greek, I am very proud to take part in such an historic event, but I am also delighted that I will be using this opportunity to raise money to help our school community.
I have a modest target of raising £500 to contribute towards the cost of the new classrooms, which were built last year.
Local Giving, the organisation which hosts the fundraising page, will match any donation made, until their available pot of £500,000 has been used up.
The picture that I have chosen for my fundraising webpage is the entrance of the Ancient Stadium of Athens where the Marathon terminates. I took it last year as I was about to enter the stadium.
