In January this year,I was diagnosed with cancer and received invaluable support and numerous cups of tea from Nenna Kind Cancer Support Drop In Centre in Chesterfield. The centre offers support for both the sufferer and their families and provides alternative therapies. The centre also supplies transport to Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield, for cancer patients and their carers.
As a keen cyclist, for many years I have wanted to ride the End to End cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats and I see this as an ideal opportunity to raise money for the centre.
