Brighton Marathon 2014On 6th April 2014 the fifth Brighton Marathon takes place, marking the start of the Marathon season in Britain, with over 7,500 runners participating. The race begins at Preston Park, passes through the centre of Brighton and The Pavilion then heads east along the coast to Rottingdean and back towards Hove before returning to the seafront and finishing on Madeira Drive, close to Brighton Pier and the Big Wheel.
Why they need our serviceBrighton Mods & Brighton Marathon2014 also marks the 50th anniversary of Brighton Mods, who every year, lead the runners around the marathon course on their beloved scooters. By making a donation to Sussex Nightstop before 3rd April you will be in with a change to win a seat on one of these scooters. You will need to have a good level of physical fitness and be available from 8am on Sunday 6th April to meet the mods at Preston Park.
Plan and expected resultsEach year we look for runners to support Sussex Nightstop in the event, helping us to raise our profile and much needed funds for the charity. We ask for a small donation of £200 for a running place. Come and find us at the Runners Expo on 4-5 April at the Brighton Centre to book your place for 2015, or email us coordinator@sussexnightstop.org.uk
