Nervous Wrecks 2018

In 2017 we raised over £10,000. This year we're doing it all again with more teams, more prizes and more beer! Join us and donate on 2nd June 2018 at Burghfield Sailing Club, Reading in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association Reading and West Berkshire and Burghfield Sailability. The Background: In 2015 our Dad, Peter Colvin, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. MND is a rapidly progressing incurable disease which has massively impacted our lives. We have put together Nervous Wrecks, a charity sailing and social event, to raise money for the MND Association and Sailability. The event will be a battle of nerves between competitors with a light hearted social in the evening including live bands, hog roast and many different types of beer! The event is open to all whether you want to compete, bob around the course or just have a few beers in the evening. All proceeds from the event will be split between the MND Association and Sailability – the charity providing boating regardless of disability.
