On May 26th, Elliott and Jamie will go head to head in the BUPA Great Manchester 10K. A lot of pride will be at stake . . . but the real winners will be the members of Oakwood Youth Club. Every penny raised will go towards providing exciting projects in sports, arts and Outdoor Pursuits for disabled young people throughout Salford. We need your support, so please sponsor us and help more disadvantaged young people access our activities.

Why they need our service

Oakwood Youth Club works with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in Salford. As well as the numerous barriers disabilities can pose, many families also struggle financially, and find it difficult to provide their children with the appropriate social opportunities they need.

Plan and expected results

By raising money through your donations, Oakwood Youth Club is able to heavily subsidise the cost that young people and their families pay, meaning those most in need can still attend our programmes of activity. Your funding also means we can improve access by providing transport pick ups from home, including young people whose parents who do not have cars or who struggle with public transport.
