The Burnside Pre-School has been running for over 20 years and in that time we have worked with hundreds of families in the local area. We had our most recent Ofsted inspection in Oct '12 and are please to annouce we received an Outstanding! We strive to work with families and children most in need and offer a well rounded educational and supportive framework so that no child is left behind.

The local area has high numbers of low income and single parent families. We aim to offer the best educational service while keeping the costs low for our families. Our Pre-School has a fantastic student placement scheme and each year we support local people to gain NVQ's in Child Care and then support them back into the work force.

Each year the project works with an average 60-70 families and their children. We aid children with speech and language difficulties. We support families by involving them in our additional projects and free training opportunities. We have a Key Worker system so each child has a dedicated worker and the parents have a point of call within the project.
