My family is participating in the buy nothing fortnight food challenge to help raise funds for and awareness of Elsie's Cafe. All the food we eat for a fortnight will have been saved from landfill by volunteers from Elsie's. The café is part of The Real Junk Food Project who aim to reduce food waste by intercepting discarded food and serving it in restaurants affiliated to the scheme across the country. We are very lucky to have such a valuable community project here in Northampton. Please help support by sponsoring me if you can or pop in to the café and enjoy a delicious lunch.
