The Coast to Coast walk is a 192 mile world renowned trail crossing three National Parks, and spanning the entire North of England. It was designed by the late Alfred Wainwright as a long distance walk to be completed over 14 days. Two Lancashire veterans are challenging themselves to complete this walk within 8 days, averaging over 24 miles per day over varying terrain. SALUTE: Over the last 4 years we have helped over 800 veterans in this area, and that number continues to rise, placing more financial demands on our service. Salute now needs your help, the general public, in the way of financial donations, so that we do not have to cut any services to our brave men and women who served our country in its hour of need over the last 90 years. All sponsorships and donations gratefully received so that Salute can continue to provide the relevant support and advice to our local ex-servicemen and women who have found themselves in difficulties since leaving the Armed Forces. Donations made through this page are automatically transferred to Salute. You do not need to create an account to make a one-time donation, but you do need to provide your name and email address for confirmation of your donation. There is also a minimum donation amount for £5. However, if you would like to make regular donations to Salute, you can do this via Salute's main LocalGiving page below. Thank You!
