Please make a donation to BYH. No contribution is too small!
We will be running this event from 7 July to 23 July 2026 where our winner will be announced at the Nottingham summer drinks!
BYH was established in 1984 and is a registered charity located in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. Although based in Stapleford they work across Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire.
BYH work to mitigate the impact of youth homelessness across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. They provide support for young people aged 16-25 years old who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of it. Their aim is to prevent homelessness in the first instance, however when this hasn’t been possible, then they offer help needed for them to rebuild their lives and empower them to successfully move on from homelessness.
Homelessness is not a ‘standalone’ issue; it impacts on an individual’s physical, mental health and social wellbeing, along with barriers to accessing healthcare, education, and employment.
BYH’s activities have been developed to address these issues along with the needs and wants of their client group; to give them every opportunity to successfully move on from homelessness.
Services include free training, an emergency parcel scheme, homeless prevention workshop, signposting, and tailored, individual support.
You can find out more about BYH at their website.
