The Blurt Foundation is exists to make a difference to anyone affected by depression. Being diagnosed can be overwhelming – there’s a lot to learn and plenty of prejudice to battle. Telling people is tough, and not everyone will understand. Blurt aim to increase awareness and understanding, and to develop a support network for those struggling with depression.
Caramel Latte Kiss is a cosplayer from Birmingham.
I’ve been cosplaying for about two years, and can regularly be found on the British convention circuit, particularly in London and Birmingham. As a cosplayer, I’ve appeared at promotional and charity events.
I've noticed a pattern in the cosplay community. I know a lot of cosplayers struggling with depression, and I wanted to do something positive for my community! With Blurt, I'm aiming to raise some money to raise awareness and understanding.
I'll be collecting money at events around the UK (look out for details) and on this page. If I reach a fund raising target, I will be releasing special rewards, including photoshoots, giveaways and videos, on my Facebook page.
