I am running Cardiff 10k for FTWW (Fair treatment for women in Wales) as I believe women are not taken seriously by GPs and more needs to be done about awareness of all gynaecology conditions.
I myself suffer with Fibroids and Adenomyosis and was not taken seriously by my GP and ended up in hospital having to have a blood transfusion. 
I want to raise awareness around gynaecological conditions and to allow women to realise what they are going through isn't normal and for GPs to have more training to recognise these conditions more easily.
