Arts Industry Professionals will host workshops through the medium of BSL . Schools will support Deaf children & young people to attend the Festival and take part in 3 out of 5 workshops .

Accessing the Arts helps the children - feel more confident - learn new skills - improve their communication - explore and understand their emotions, identity and the world around them - be creative and imaginative - broaden their horizons - have fun. - think about their futures Many young people will not experience activities surrounded by many of their peers , often in main stream schools they may be the only deaf person or one of a small number .
