Abode’s village in Ghana doesn’t have access to clean water. Water comes from a well; it is dirty water. Cholera and diarrhoea result from drinking this dirty water. Clean water is needed for drinking, cooking and washing. Soap and clean water is needed in order to protect against viruses and diseases.
Lee Gardens Pool is heavily dependent on water. It seams unfair that we can access clean water and our partner's village can't. Ghanaian people are said to be very friendly. So too are people in our village and surrounding areas. Can we help Abode’s village?
Lee Gardens Pool has over 2,000 followers on social media. If each person gave £2 that would be enough to provide clean water for the village. Wouldn’t it be nice, as we prepare for the changes that will take place at Lee Gardens Pool in 2021, if we could all give a little something to develop a bore hole in Oyoko Village, Ghana to provide clean water for the men, women and children who live there?
All the plans and permissions are in place but sadly there is no money. If you are in a position to spare a few pounds, I hope you will consider donating. Every penny donated will go to making life easier for people in Abode’s village.
