I am a wheelchair user, but I can swim! I am taking part in the Big Swim at Salford Quays on 4th July, swimming a mile.
I am raising funds to enable North and West Yorkshire ASBAH to buy an all-terrain mobility scooter (Tramper). The scooter will be kept and maintained at Herd Farm Residential and Activity Centre, Eccup, Leeds. www.herdfarm.co.uk
Herd Farm provides outdoor activities for children and adults, many of whom have disabilities. The staff are amazing at including everyone in activities to the best of their abilities.
The Tramper will enable children and adults to access all areas of the site.
