The Rainbow club, Supporting children with disabilities, special needs.
To provide support for children with disabilities and special needs and their families. We provide family meets, activity clubs, family days out, and training for parents and professionals. We also have a library of books and resources to loan to our members.
Why the community needs us
Support for all the family, friendship for parents and siblings in similar situations. Social opportunities for parents of children with disabilities who often feel alone and isolated. Play opportunities for children in a safe, warm and caring environment.
Our impact on the community
Parents feel less isolated and feel more confident in dealing with their personal situation. Friendship with people who really understand what it's like to care for a child with a disability or special need. Life long friends for children with special needs.
