I'm raising money for Shelter NI, I will be spending the night sleeping outside the main QUB Lanyon building to raise funds and awareness for the homelessness charity.
- 15,000 homeless people and individuals in Northern Ireland, including the elderly, according to the Housing Executive.
-Homelessness is at a higher rate in Northern Ireland than anywhere else in the UK
-Homelessness has risen 32% in the last five years
- Shelter Northern Ireland was founded in 1980 and is a charity whose mission is to promote and facilitate the provision of sufficient, decent and affordable homes to end long term homelessness and eliminate poor housing.
