Include Youth
Include Youth work with young people in care, leaving care, from disadvantaged communities or whose rights are not being met to improve their employ-ability and personal development.
Many of these young people have experienced social exclusion, poverty or have other complex challenges in their lives, for example a learning need, homelessness or mental ill health, therefore need additional support to overcome their barriers and positively progress into education, training or work.
Children who grow up in care often lack positive role models in their lives often because they have lost contact with family members or disengaged from school. We connect young people into communities through mentors, work experience and activities so they feel more confident, have access to support and are prepared to overcome whatever challenges they may be facing.
As part of Include Youth’s 40th birthday we are hosting a flagship Strictly Come Dancing event to raise some much needed funds that will directly go back into the programmes that young people attending across Northern Ireland including their qualifications
Caoimhin and Clodagh will be taking part in the Belfast Marathon on 5th May and also an Absail down the Europa Hotel on 26th May.
A few surprises through-out the way will be in stock for you to donate also!!
Please Give GENEROUSLY as it is for an amazing cause.
