Team Fundraisers
We are a crazy but enthusiastic bunch of health care staff from St Luke’s Hospital who are risking our sanity and our lives to boost funds for the Lord Mayor of Bradford’s chosen charities.
In our everyday lives, we work with children with complex needs such as Down syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability, Autism and Life limiting conditions. We hope that the money we raise will enrich the lives of children with special needs and their families by providing high tech equipment and specialist toys that are not available through mainstream services. All money we raise will be split between the Bradford Hospitals’ Children’s Charity and the Spread a Smile Charity.
None of us have ever seen, let alone crewed, a Dragon Boat before, but by the time of the Big Race you will be amazed at our upper body strength and our tremendous courage in taking on even the fiercest of opponents!
