Team Fundraisers
As we reflect on all that our children have experienced and achieved this year and we look forward to spending the long summer with them at home… please, spare a thought for all the staff that have educated, entertained, encouraged and supported them (and us) through the year.
This year, some of our children have been supported through starting school, through transitions, through SAT's or through their GCSE's. Whatever their age, they have enjoyed clubs, workshops, trips, sports arts and more. They have overcome challenges, mastered new skills and discovered new interests. They have grown in ability, experience and self-confidence.
We have an amazing staff, across the whole school, that give so much to making all this happen. Not just the teachers and LSA's on the front line but the wider team that support behind the scenes. This page is set up so that if you would like to make a gift to them all in return, the money raised will be ringfenced for staff welfare and will not disappear into the general school funds. Some of the money raised last year was spent on catering for the staff on inset days and for tea and coffee in the staff room which was really appreciated.
"Thank you" It's simple to say and so powerful. Research shows that practicing gratitude is not just good manners but is actually good for our own health as well as those it is directed towards. Let's not take them for granted, a simple thank you and a show of appreciation can make so much difference to someone’s day. If you leave a comment when you make your donation before the end of term, I will collect these up into a card for the staff room.
