Neil Deakin - Sleeping Out for the Homeless

"We are fundraising to help support the homeless and vulnerable across Calderdale by experiencing just one night of sleeping rough as part of the Big Calderdale Sleep Out. Unfortunately, sleeping outside with no home to go to, with nowhere warm and dry to feel safe and with no hope of a resolution is a very real prospect for a shocking number of individuals across our district, some for days, weeks, months or even years. 

Funds raised will go directly to Happy Days UK, a not for profit organisation helping to support the homeless and vulnerable across Calderdale by offering safe accommodation and providing unconditional, practical and social support to bring hope to individuals. As well as working on the front line to support those who are without accommodation, we also provide our residents with a full support team, counselling, debt management and a mentor to enable them to succeed in leading normal, happy and fulfilled lives".
