In June, I am taking on the Leeds 10k to support Women’s Health Matters.
For over 30 years, this incredible charity has been a lifeline for women and girls across Leeds. They provide safe, non‑judgmental spaces for those facing the biggest barriers to their health and safety - including survivors of domestic abuse, asylum seekers, and women navigating the healthcare system during times of crisis.
I’m running because I believe every woman in our city deserves to be healthy, safe, and heard.
As the manager of Brighouse Bats, a team that proudly advocates for Women’s Health Matters, this cause means a great deal to me - and I’m thrilled that two of our players will be joining me on the day to run in support of the charity too.
Your support ensures that Women’s Health Matters can continue their vital frontline work, providing advocacy and peer support to those who need it most. Every donation, no matter the size, stays right here in Leeds and makes a real difference to a woman’s life. Thank you for supporting me - and for standing with the women of Leeds!
