In 2019 our family were flung into the SEN (Special Educational Needs) world in what felt like a complete blur. Fortunately we where given a flyer for the Parent Carer Drop In service right at the beginning. The welcome and support couldn't have come from a more caring and compassionate team. Finding friends at Drop In I could share the SEN journey with and the highs and lows of the lived experience as a parent carer has been so important for us all. The Life Project have felt like my safe haven and support ever since. They do amazing work with young adults with special educational needs and their work is invaluable. Do support them if you can and my attempt at a run around a half marathon course on Sunday the 16th of October.
