I am fundraising for The Principle Trust Children's Charity, a local children's charity founded in 2011 by Mike Davies MBE. The charity provides respite breaks to underprivileged and disadvantaged children from North and West Yorkshire, particularly children with life limiting conditions and disabilities. To raise money for this charity, I am taking part in the first race of the day at 1pm at Heslaker Farm, Skipton Races on Saturday 5th May 2018. I will be riding my home-bred Irish Draught horse, Padraic. Both he and I have been in a good paddock and both qualify for the Heavyweight section! Neither of us are really built for speed but we are training hard and will do our absolute best on the day! So please put your hand in your pocket and sponsor me!
