The Flamingo Chicks team is taking on Battle Archery! A cross between paintballing and dodgeball; there will be bows and patented foam-tipped arrows, guaranteed to be exciting and action-packed !
We're raising money for the fabulous Flamingo Chicks - Flamingo Chicks provides inclusive ballet classes where children with disabilities and illnesses can explore and enjoy movement, regardless of ability. At the same time, parents and carers benefit from a vital and unique support network.

It’s a welcoming, safe space for children with additional needs to have fun, make new friends and explore what their bodies can do – whilst enabling parents to come together, swap tips and share ways to cope helping us though the journey of parenting a child with disabilities. It’s the most incredible place – full of love and warmth, it has literally changed our lives for the better” Julie Smee, parent to Issy, aged 8.
Since December 2013 we have grown from a community group to a fully-fledged dance school and are continuing to expand rapidly: from 2014 to 2015, the number of classes has increased by 500% (from 25 to 150). Demand is incredible, with more than 100 families applying for every 15 class places. Flamingo Chicks has already reached in excess of 200 families, and this year, we are already on track to reach 1,200.
