As many of my friends and family will know, last year i walked '50 miles for Freedom' throughout February, raising an amazing £415 for Safe and Free. This is a charity very close to my heart, who i have worked with for almost 4 years.
This February i will be walking 100 MILES FOR FREEDOM!
Safe and Free are working to put trafficking out of business. "We want all young people to be protected from the growing problem of grooming, child sexual exploitation (CSE) and trafficking. We believe the best way to do this is through education"
The money raised will go towards our very important educational projects. Allowing us to develop our free education packs and maximise the exposure across schools, youth clubs, scout and guide associations in Greater Manchester and hopefully the rest of UK.
Using real life case studies, the education packs gives children and young people the tools they need to spot the signs and prevent themselves and their friends from being exploited. The pack inspires young people to take a stand for their generation against these real issues.
