Team Fundraisers
Christeyns UK are challenging themselves to compete in the 2018 Bradford Dragon Boat Festival. Taking place on Saturday 23rd June in Roberts Park, Saltaire our intrepid team of enthusiastic paddlers will attempt to row their way into Christeyns folk law by raising more money than ever before.
Our team is fundraising for the Bradford Lord Mayor's Appeal, which this year is raising money for Down Syndrome Training and Support Services and the Wishing Well Appeal. Our team, 'The Christeyns Cruisers', is made up of a diverse group of 'semi-willing' volunteers from across the Christeyns organisation, all with very little dragon boat experience. All those that survive the experience are hoping to enjoy the day but more importantly raise a healthy total for two very worthy local causes.
