Claire grapples for 24hrs (so you don’t have to)!
Artemis BJJ are hosting their annual 24-hour Grapplethon in aid of Womankind women’s therapy centre in Bristol - and I am going to attempt to stay on the mats for the whole event!
Womankind provide mental health services such as counselling; services for which the demand is ever increasing. As somebody who has received free mental health care, I am greatly appreciative of the value of making these services more accessible to everyone in the community.
24 hours of any physical activity is a big ask on the body and mind, but we grapplers will get to rest and relax after the event. People living with mental health conditions don’t have this option, and even the simplest of daily activities can become an exhausting challenge.
Any donation, however big or small, will be much appreciated by all involved!
Congrats Claire.... what a fantastic achievement! From Stewart and Catherine
