Why they need our serviceSolihull has a marked contrast between the South and North of the Borough, where most of our work is carried out. Life expectancy in the North of Solihull is 5.3 years less for men and 4.8 years less for women than in the rest of the Borough. Unemployment in parts of the North is typically 6% - almost double the Borough average. Ten areas in the North of the Borough are also in the bottom 10% most deprived nationally with one in the worst 5 %.
