Our complementary therapy scheme runs in two boroughs across London. It is done by qualified professionals who have experience with working with the elderly. We have been running it since 2004 when we started it in Westminster and we have expanded since then. It has proved vital and very popular to elderly people as many cannot cut their nails. The massage also helps to ease the pain which 90% suffer from due to having illnesses such as osteoarthritis.

Many of the elderly people we cater for have illnesses such as arthritis and oseoporosis. We offer a manicure and pedicure scheme as many can't do their nails and feet and it provides them with a boost. We also offer a massage service as it helps ease the pain of artritis, back and knee problems and can reduce the need for medication.

We are currently running this project but require the funding to continue it. We have record books so we know how many people we cater for. We also do six monthly questionnaire's to ask for feedback on our activities. We always have very positive feedback on the scheme
