Supporting the local community is important to us. We do this by finding out what people need and doing our best to deliver. Core funding from Severn Trent has helped us fund two important services requested by residents which includes the development of our community allotment and delivery of our health and wellbeing programme. Being able to spend time outdoors and connect with nature by growing produce contributes towards good mental health. Providing weekly exercise classes and opportunities for people to see our local nurse without appointment really helps those who otherwise are inactive or have difficulty seeing their GP to get basic advise on health and nutrition. We are grateful to Severn Trent for this grant award which will have a noteable impact on our community.
