I am running the Reading Half Marathon for an amazing charity who without their help we wouldnt have come as far as we have.
Jude, was frustrated and angry, due to his inability to communicate and lack of understanding of the world.
With the help of Stepping Stones, a specialist nursery, implementing the right speech therapy, giving us tools as a family to cope, Jude has gone from strength to strength; thriving in a mainstream school.
Stepping Stones shared their experience/expertise with our mainstream nursery Little Angels in Calne. In doing so, Jude got the best support possible in both settings. Both settings willing to share, putting our child first.
Jude is a happy, funny friendly child who seems to be thriving in a mainstream school.
Stepping Stones is a Charity, they need our help for funding (Dont get me started on why they are run as a charity and not funded by the government, as their work has been invaluable for years prior to us and hopefully years after). To be able to continue they need our help. Please give as little as you want, every tiny amount matters, £1 if you cant afford more is perfectly fine.
