Team Fundraisers
Anyone that knows me knows that I like a challenge but I wasn't really sure about this one.
My Railway work-friends have formed a running squad (Team Nutbar) to have a go at completing the Manchester Marathon. Completing a Marathon is massive and it was on my bucket list but I just wasn't quite ready. Busy mum, cold winter training and all that.
Three things have made me sign up though.
Reason 1 - The Cause
Any cash pledged will go to The Riff Raff Society who are a direct giving small charity that have agreed to fund Baby Hayley Norman's educational and respite needs over the coming months.
Hayley is the daughter of Emma Norman who is a a work colleague of mine and she has just been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.
Reason 2 - I love the other Team Members involved - Great Energy!
Reason 3 - I can't let this challenge pass and not be involved.
Really hope you can help me to help a friend of mine
