CREW will be more proactive with our main partners in Calderdale Upbeat Exercise and GP Referalls, particulary their preventive work with pre condition Cardiovascular problems. This will also help in the uptake of defibrillators being more readily available through all schools, reference their work with schools and the "Upbeat Kids project." Another aspect of our efforts will be a closer link with the Arrhythmia Alliance aim of defiblillators in the overall community of Calderdale.

Firstly it will help to keep and improve these vital community benefits and to ensure Calderdale has the best qualified personnel to deliver these benefits.Secondly we hope to highlight the need for more defibrillators being made available to every area of need.

The most desireable impact would be that many more defibrillators will be established in Schools where Emergency Life Saving skills are taught on the curriculum, plus the availability in public places with grater knowledge being available to the public at large, through Heartstart programmes being set up in many more areas of calderdale. CREW would hope to work closely with the British Heart Foundation to help make this happen.
