I am aiming to cycle from Lands End to Manchester, 530 miles in June ( subject to a gentle headwind and a happy left knee) to raise money for 2 organisations.
Together We Grow, the organisation we set up 4 years ago to support asylum seekers and refugees. The organisation is developing in many new and exciting ways thanks to the wonderful ideas and generosity of the members of Together We Grow and dedicated volunteers. Money raised will support travel and food costs, our local walking group and an overnight camping stay in the Summer holidays, amongst other things .
The Bumble Bee Conservation Trust, which along with many environmental
organisations is raising awareness about our depleting insect populations and is trying to help preserve and enlarge the habitats for these vital insects.
