Hi, I’m Andrew and I have sight loss. I’m riding the Wilberforce Way to raise funds for the Wilberforce Trust and their work. My challenge is to ride a modified ‘Wilberforce Way’, which is 60 miles from Hull to York in a single day.  Travelling at speed, avoiding potholes and being able to see very far ahead of you when you have sight loss makes the ride more challenging and I will be taking full advantage of a rider ahead of me to guide the way. This is a risk undertaking but I am up for the challenge ahead of me. I’m taking part in this challenge because I care very much about the amazing support the Wilberforce Trust provides for their tenants, who have sight loss. Being able to live an independent life for as long as possible in a fabulous and stimulating environment is a privilege not open to all. Everyone deserves to live the life they choose. The opportunity the Trust provides speaks volumes about their dedication and commitment to helping everyone with sight loss in the local area.
