On the 6th of September, I, with aid from my friend George, will be cycling from Carlisle 60 miles to Newcastle in order to raise as much money as possible for Carlisle Key. Carlisle Key is a brilliant charity based right in the centre of the city doing amazing work around the clock to help young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who have been declared or are at risk of been declared as homeless in the Carlisle area. Been a young person myself, I can notmagine the amplitude of dealing with a circumstance like that without help, and that's why Carlisle Key is such an important charity to have on our doorstep. However, with homelessness unfortunately on the rise and the spaces in supported accommodation dwindling, the hard working volunteers, such as Leah Jopson who suggested the decision to choose Carlisle Key as the charity to direct this fundraiser towards, need as much help as they can get, so if you have the means to donate it would mean the world to myself, all the volunteers at Carlisle Key and most importantly the young people themselves. If not, a simple share to spread this message would help just as much. Thankyou for reading.
