I once ran a marathon, at a months notice, and everyone said, how did you do it? The truth is twofold. I believed running it would help someone struggling with their life, and that struggler became a great friend. I had great motivation. I had the greatest trainer you could have, my son Levi, who was my Mr Motivator.
Well, it's his turn now, not just to talk the talk, but to run the run, and show me how it's done. Apparently he's going to smash my 4hours 49mins. We will see!
I'm proud to support my favourite charity, I'm proud Levi has agreed to support it, proud he's supporting me again.
As we pound the streets, even a pound donation will ease our feet...
