Daisy: I first visited the Collett School three years ago as part of my fundraising role at Lockers Park School. I was instantly made to feel like part of the family and was overwhelmed by the amazing work Stephen and his team were doing of making a real difference to the lives of the pupils. Since then Lockers Park have raised funds for Collett in a range of ways but as they rely almost entirely on fundraising, a group of us have decided to walk across hot coals for them.
Jane: A few of us are walking on hot coals to raise money for Collett School. This amazing school educates and provide support to children with moderate learning difficulties. Lockers Park has had a link with the Collett for a few years now and all of us recognise how dedicated the staff are to ensure that the needs of all children are met.
Martin: Here at Lockers Park we are very proud to support the Collett School with its wonderful staff and pupils. On the 16th of March I will be donning my kilt and defying the very laws of nature by perambulating a blazing causeway of doom, attempting to escape with my sporran unscathed and my tartan intact. Please support our mighty band of non-combustible warriors or ‘Blazin’ Squad’ in our charitable quest for greatness.
Michelle: I have decided that it is time to be brave and face a fear. What could me more terrifying than walking on fire?! I will be joining my brave friends to do a fire walk in aid of the wonderful Collet School on 16th March. I am looking forward to an experience of a lifetime and with the chance to help my local community to boot. Please support us.
Sarah: Along with some of the other teachers from Lockers Park, Roy and I will be walking barefoot over a 20ft path of hot embers) on Friday 16th March. One of our new year's resolutions was to do more charity work so when this opportunity came up, we were thrilled to accept the challenge in order to raise some money for the amazing Collett School in Hemel Hempstead.
