On the 19th of September, me (Piotr) and Damo will be taking place in our first Half Ironman event! We would like to use it as an opportunity not only to get fitter but also to help support Keen London charity.
WHY KEEN?
We decided to fundraise for Keen London to support those children who need help exercising and training. The charity was heavily affected by the pandemic and are just resuming their work so they need as much support as possible.
'KEEN London is a small charity doing amazing work for children with disabilities. Because of our size, we can keep our overheads as low as possible and ensure that every pound donated to KEEN is spent on improving the lives of the children we support'
WHAT IS AN IRONMAN 70.3?
Ironman 70.3 - also known as a Half Ironman, consists of a 1.2-mile (1.9 km) swim, 56-mile (90 km) bike ride, and 13.1-mile (21.1 km) run. Since most races were re-scheduled, it was very difficult to find an Ironman event, luckily, I Feel Slovenia event has spaces available and we managed to sign up! There are still spaces if you want to join btw!

If for whatever reason, the event is cancelled or restrictions do not allow us to travel to Slovenia, we would still like to support Keen and will not be cancelling the fundraiser. We will find another IM or marathon to compete
